A day in the life - Final Major

Today we were given the brief for our final project of our first year in pca!! The brief is called "A day in the life" and it's a project about whatever we would like to do. I find this project quite a broad and long winded as it is over a period of 14 weeks, however I feel that I can produce some good work out of this and make the most of the time I have. I'm choosing to take photo's of whatever I see that appeals to me in my everyday life in a minimal/negative space way. The reason I chose to do a more minimal approach to this project is because I like the way minimal photo's look and I find them aesthetically pleasing to look at - they're clean, fresh and simple which is the type of work I'd like to create. I have practiced taking some minimal photo's before the project started and they turned out to look quite good and I really liked them and that's what drove me to do this for my final project. I also looked online to see if I could find any websites with some cool minimal pictures and similar what I want to do and I found this one: http://photography.tutsplus.com/articles/less-is-more-50-examples-of-minimalist-photography--photo-3914

These are a few of the images off of the website that I took and interest in - I really like these because of the colours in them - instead of just plain a plain white backgrounds these photographers use bright colours like orange, blue and yellow - which I really like. The angling and the way they've got the lines in the image is clever because as you can see in the first image, it's as if it's symmetrical but opposite at the same time.
